Three periods of regulation and an overtime session were not enough to settle matters as Renfrew Timberwolves defeated Perth Blue Wings in a shootout 6-5 (1-0 SO).

Renfrew Timberwolves saw a two-goal lead disappear, but was able to secure the win in a shootout. Renfrew Timberwolves made the score 5-3 on a goal by Scott Conroy at 12:03 in the third period. Perth Blue Wings evened things up at 5-5 on a goal by Alex Vala at 16:23 in the third period.

Renfrew Timberwolves was paced on offense by Conroy and Troy Taylor, who combined for six points. Conroy had two goals and Taylor also added one goal and three assists.
