Dresden falls to Belle River in overtime, 1-0 (OT)

The Belle River Canadiens pulled out a 1-0 (OT) overtime victory over the Dresden Kings on a clutch goal by Logan Percy.

Belle River was boosted by Mitch Topliffe, who turned in a shutout with 25 saves. Topliffe managed to improve on his goals against average, which stood at 2.84 prior to the game.

Percy's game-winning tally was the game's only goal. It came at 4:09 in the fourth period. Branden Larocque picked up the assist.

The Canadiens' offense operated below they season average. Belle River averages 4.1 goals per game. Dresden was unable to stop the Canadiens from sending pucks towards the net, and Belle River eventually piled up 49 shots on goal.

In addition, Belle River received assists from Sebastian Kanally, who had one.

The Kings were held below their usual level of production. Dresden puts an average of 3.2 pucks into the net per game.

The Canadiens incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors and had no power play opportunities. The Kings' Brent Paxton stopped 48 shots out of the 49 that he faced. Dresden incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
