Three periods of regulation and an overtime session were not enough to settle matters as the Port Perry Mojacks defeated the Uxbridge Bruins in a shootout 5-4 (2-1 SO).

The two teams needed five turns to complete the shootout. Uxbridge got a shootout goal from Matthew Allen. Port Perry also got a shootout goal from Kyle Powell.

In a losing effort, the Bruins were led by Jarett Smith, who tallied one goal and two assists. Smith scored 14:29 into the second period to make the score 3-1 Port Perry. Dylan Locke assisted on the tally.

Port Perry additionally got points from Lucas Berkers, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Port Perry also got a goal from Logan Evans as well. In addition, Port Perry received assists from Conner Shingler and Kyle Schweda, who contributed one a piece.

The Bruins' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four Port Perry power plays.

Shane Smith also scored for Uxbridge. Other players who recorded assists for Uxbridge were Carter Vahey and Korey Brand, who each chipped in one.

Drew Siydock recorded 25 saves for Port Perry. For the Mojacks, Joe Lamanna was ejected from the game. Max Tjin made 22 saves for Uxbridge on 26 shots. The Bruins incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with four minors.
