The xCobourg Cougars pulled out a 4-3 (OT) overtime victory over the Toronto Junior Canadiens on a clutch goal by Rylee McKinnon. xCobourg overcame a two-goal deficit to capture the victory. The Cougars fell behind 3-1 after a power play goal by Toronto's Nicholas Jarzabek at 18:15 in the second period. xCobourg tied things up at 3-3 on a power play goal by Conner Hogg at 11:23 in the third period. Hogg was all over the ice for the Cougars, as he tallied one goal and two assists in the win. xCobourg's offense rang up 33 shots on the Junior Canadiens' net. The Cougars got an offensive boost from their blueliners, who contributed two goals during the game. xCobourg additionally got points from Mason Marchment, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Kenzie Smith also scored for xCobourg. Other players who recorded assists for xCobourg were Alex D Oliveira, Ryan Logan, Stuart King, and Taylor Gauld, who contributed one a piece.
