The Oakville Blades tried to dig themselves out of a two-goal hole, but the yToronto Lakeshore Patriots held on for a 4-3 victory. yToronto Lakeshore made the score 4-2 on a goal by Marcus Rose at 9:33 in the third period, and Oakville got as close as 4-3 when Sean Kohler scored 19:41 into the third period. Doug Bonar had two goals and one assist to lead the Patriots. Bonar scored the first of his two goals on the power play at 3:40 into the first period to make the score 1-0 yToronto Lakeshore. yToronto Lakeshore had taken the advantage when the Blades' Greg Allen got sent off for hooking.
