The xWellington Dukes had trouble finding ways to stop the xKingston Voyageurs, which beat Dukes, 4-1.

xKingston was sparked by Mason Nowak, who racked up one goal and one assist. Nowak scored 18:48 into the first period to make the score 2-0 xKingston.

The Voyageurs stifled xWellington's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. xKingston's offense rang up 36 shots on the Dukes' net.

xKingston also got points from Adam Brady, who also registered one goal and one assist and Alex Tonge, who also grabbed one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Brody Heleno also scored for xKingston. Other players who recorded assists for xKingston were Josh Hicks and Cole Bolton, who contributed one a piece.

xWellington put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow the Voyageurs to score on any of their three power plays. The Dukes' offense operated below they season average. xWellington averages 3.5 goals per game.

The Dukes were led by Trevor Cope, who scored the team's only goal. Cope scored 5:13 into the second period to make the score 2-1 xKingston. Luc Brown provided the assist.

Sam Tanguay rejected 21 shots on goal for xKingston. The Voyageurs incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. xWellington's Tyson Teichmann stopped 32 shots out of the 36 that he faced. The Dukes incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
