Victor Adamo had a standout game with 36 saves, and the St. Michaels Buzzers beat the Oakville Blades 4-1. St. Michaels was sparked by CJ Shugart, who tallied one goal and one assist. Shugart scored 10:02 into the third period to make the score 2-0 St. Michaels. Jake Evans assisted on the tally. Oakville was unable to stop the Buzzers from sending pucks towards the net, and St. Michaels eventually piled up 45 shots on goal. St. Michaels also got points from David Italiano, who also grabbed two goals and one assist and Evans, who also racked up one goal and two assists. Other players who recorded assists for St. Michaels were Noah Jordan, who had one. The Blades forced the Buzzers goalie Adamo to work between the pipes, taking 37 shots. Oakville could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 24 minutes in penalties during the game. The Blades were led by Greg Campbell, who scored the team's only goal. Campbell scored on the power play 17:49 into the third period to make the score 3-1 St. Michaels. Oakville had taken the advantage when St. Michaels' Jake Clements got sent off for cross checking. Ross Sloan picked up the assist. The Buzzers incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. The Blades' Brendan McGlynn stopped 41 shots out of the 44 that he faced.
