Spencer Green grabbed one point to lead the xKingston Voyageurs to a 4-0 victory over the Mississauga Chargers.

xKingston put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Mississauga to score on any of its five power plays. The Voyageurs featured an improved defense during the game. xKingston allows 2.6 goals per game. The Chargers were unable to stop the Voyageurs from sending pucks towards the net, and xKingston eventually piled up 57 shots on goal.

xKingston also got points from Brandon O Quinn, who also tallied one goal and two assists and Michael Casale, who also finished with one goal and two assists to lead the team in points. xKingston also got a goal from Alex Tonge as well. Other players who recorded assists for xKingston were Jarret Kup, who had two and Adam Brady and Brett Du Puy, who contributed one a piece.

The Mississauga penalty box was a popular destination as the team totaled seven minors and one major for 29 minutes in penalty time. The Chargers surpassed its season average of 19.0 penalty minutes per game. Mississauga excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in five chances. The Chargers were held below their usual level of production. Mississauga puts an average of 3.3 pucks into the net per game.

The Voyageurs' Alex Brooks-Potts stopped 24 shots out of the 24 that he faced. xKingston ended with 31 minutes in penalty time with three minors and three majors. The Voyageurs ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Michael Crocock was ejected from the game. Alex Lepore recorded 53 saves for the Chargers. For Mississauga, Tyler Cooper was ejected from the game.
