Alex Tonge was all over the ice for the xKingston Voyageurs, as he tallied two goals and one assist in xKingston's 5-1 win over the xCobourg Cougars. Tonge found the back of the net 8:47 into the second period to make the score 2-0 xKingston and again while 14:57 into the second to make the score 4-0 xKingston.The Voyageurs forced Cougars' goaltenders to work without much rest, taking 32 shots and forcing 27 saves. Nathan Perry made 12 stops and Mathieu Ouellet made 15. xKingston additionally got points from Brett Seney, who also tallied one goal and three assists to lead the team in points. xKingston also had goals scored by Adam Moodie and Cole Bolton, who each put in one. In addition, xKingston received assists from Adam Brady, who had two and Blake ONeill, Michael Crocock, and Brandon O Quinn, who each chipped in one. xCobourg put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow xKingston to score on any of its six power plays.
