The Wellington Dukes used a sparkling performance by Tyson Teichmann to take down the Newmarket Hurricanes, as the netminder did not allow a goal in Wellington's 4-0 shutout victory.

Newmarket's power play was ineffective against the Dukes' penalty kill, which allowed zero goals while shorthanded.

Wellington put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow the Hurricanes to score on any of their eight power plays.
