The Lindsay Muskies' Austin Brown scored 3:27 into overtime to beat the Mississauga Chargers, 3-2 (OT).

Lindsay pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 21 penalty minutes.

The Muskies were paced by Brown, who finished with one goal.

Lindsay also had goals scored by Patrick Morgan and Peter Barral, who each put in one. In addition, Lindsay received assists from Vince Herlihey, Bryan Hignett, Stuart Fierheller, and Joseph Vocino, who contributed one a piece.

The Chargers put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow the Muskies to score on any of their four power plays. Lindsay was unable to stop Mississauga from sending pucks towards the net, and the Chargers eventually piled up 34 shots on goal.

Mississauga was helped by Lucas Venuto, who had one goal. Venuto scored on the power play 10:15 into the third period to make the score 2-2. The Chargers had gotten the advantage when the Muskies' Michael Spataro was sent off for high sticking. Galli Austin assisted on the tally. Trevor Warnaar also scored for Mississauga.
