Aurora boosted by Entmaa's play in net, beats Trenton 2-1

Kevin Entmaa stood on his head and made 31 saves to lead the Aurora Tigers to a 2-1 victory over the Trenton Golden Hawks.

Aurora was paced by Drake Board, who grabbed one goal. Board scored 17:43 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Aurora. Dylan Sikura picked up the assist.

The Tigers managed to stay out of the box better than usual, racking up one minor for two minutes in penalty time. Aurora wound up below its season average of 14.0 penalty minutes per game. Trenton was unable to stop the Tigers from sending pucks towards the net, and Aurora eventually piled up 36 shots on goal.

Adam DiBrina also scored for Aurora. More assists for Aurora came via Callum Fryer, who had one.

The Golden Hawks did not reach the goal total they have come to expect this season. Trenton averages 4.3 goals per game. The Golden Hawks' offense rang up 32 shots on the Tigers' net.

Trenton was led by Tyler Donaldson, who scored the team's only goal. Donaldson scored 2:42 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Trenton. Jason Zaleski provided the assist.

Aurora registered zero goals on two power play opportunities. Denny Dubblestyne rejected 34 shots on goal for the Golden Hawks. Trenton incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors and had no power play opportunities.
