Toronto Lakeshore squeaks by St. Michaels, 3-2

The game between the Toronto Lakeshore Patriots and the St. Michaels Buzzers was tight through all 60 minutes, but in the end Toronto Lakeshore emerged with a 3-2 win.

Each team kept the other at bay throughout the game, and Quinn Syrydiuk secured the win for the Patriots with a goal in the third period.

Toronto Lakeshore pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 16 penalty minutes.

The Patriots were led by Syrydiuk, who registered one goal. Syrydiuk scored 15:31 into the third period to make the score 3-2 Toronto Lakeshore.

Toronto Lakeshore additionally got points from Andreas Tsogkas, who also racked up one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Doug Bonar also scored for Toronto Lakeshore. More assists for Toronto Lakeshore came via Michael Prapavessis, who had one.

Toronto Lakeshore was unable to stop St. Michaels from sending pucks towards the net, and the Buzzers eventually piled up 31 shots on goal.

St. Michaels was helped by Stefano Pezzetta, who grabbed one goal. Pezzetta scored on the power play 11:42 into the third period to make the score 2-2. A slashing penalty on Tsogkas had put the Buzzers on the power play. Luca Doctor assisted on the tally. St. Michaels also got points from Doctor, who also had one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. In addition, St. Michaels received assists from Ian Edmondson, Joseph Berton, and CJ Shugart, who contributed one a piece.

Jeremy Helvig made 29 saves for the Patriots on 31 shots. Toronto Lakeshore registered one goal on one power play opportunities. Victor Adamo rejected 26 shots on goal for St. Michaels. The Buzzers incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
