Entmaa, Aurora blank Lindsay, 5-0

Kevin Entmaa made 26 saves to complete the shutout and led the Aurora Tigers to a 5-0 win against the Lindsay Muskies.

Aurora was sparked by Taylor McCloy, who had one goal and one assist. McCloy scored 9:05 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Aurora. Drake Board provided the assist.

The Tigers' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on five Lindsay power plays. Aurora was steadier on the defensive front than it has been for much of this season. The Tigers gives up 2.4 goals on average per game. Aurora forced Lindsay goalie Branden Francey to work between the pipes, taking 36 shots. The Tigers' penalty killing units received substantial work throughout the game as Aurora finished with 24 penalty minutes.

Aurora additionally got points from Board, who also racked up one goal and one assist and Kory Kennedy, who also grabbed one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Others who scored for Aurora included Dylan Sikura and Adam DiBrina, who scored one goal each. More assists for Aurora came via Curtis Warren, Eric Williams, Mihkel Poldma, Calvin Higley, and Robert Angiolella, who contributed one a piece.

The Muskies were held below their usual level of production. Lindsay averages 3.1 goals per game.

The Tigers registered one goal on four power play opportunities. The Muskies' Francey stopped 31 shots out of the 36 that he faced. Lindsay incurred 16 minutes in penalty time with eight minors.
