Steven Dombrosky recorded a shutout against the Orangeville Flyers as the Pickering Panthers picked up a 3-0 win. Pickering pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 22 penalty minutes. The Panthers stifled Orangeville's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Pickering forced the Flyers goalie Wyatt Pickrell to work between the pipes, taking 46 shots. The Panthers were helped by Robert Cammalleri, who grabbed one goal. Cammalleri scored 7:22 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Pickering. Riley Devine provided the assist. Pickering also had goals scored by Tanner Shaw and Mike Nedoszytko, who scored one goal each. More assists for Pickering came via Cam Palmer, Michael Walker, and Doug Carter, who each chipped in one. Orangeville put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Pickering to score on any of its six power plays. The Flyers did not reach the goal total they have come to expect this season. Orangeville puts an average of 2.4 pucks into the net per game. The Flyers kept the Panthers' goalie busy throughout the game, and Dombrosky made 39 saves on 39 shots. Wyatt Pickrell made 43 saves for Orangeville on 45 shots. The Flyers incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
