Oakville rides Buitenhuis to victory over Mississauga, 2-1

Sixteen Mile Sports Complex    Fri, Nov 22, 2013

The Oakville Blades relied on the sparkling performance of Evan Buitenhuis in net to grab a 2-1 win against the Mississauga Chargers.

Oakville pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 20 penalty minutes.

The Blades were sparked by Ross Sloan, who racked up one goal. Sloan scored on the power play 1:54 into the third period to make the score 2-1 Oakville. An interference penalty on Nick Tetley had put Oakville on the power play. Greg Campbell picked up the assist.
