Toronto Lakeshore downs Hamilton, 6-2

Rory Bell grabbed one point to lead the Toronto Lakeshore Patriots to a 6-2 victory over the Hamilton Red Wings.

Toronto Lakeshore excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances.

Others who scored for Toronto Lakeshore included Matthew Marchese, who had two and Andreas Tsogkas, Jacob Hayhurst, and Nathan Feric, who scored one goal each. More assists for Toronto Lakeshore came via Jack OHara, who had three, Tyler Enns, Marcus Rose, Lior Goldenberg, Kevin Shier, and Quinn Syrydiuk, who contributed one a piece, and Doug Bonar and Michael Prapavessis, who each chipped in two.

Hamilton was helped by Cole Poliziani, who racked up one goal. Poliziani scored 17:30 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Alex Zaccaria picked up the assist. Hamilton also got a goal from Joel Knight as well. Other players who recorded assists for Hamilton were Luke Sinclair, who had one and Austin Sloot (APM), who had two.

Mark Manolescu recorded 27 saves for the Patriots. Toronto Lakeshore incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. The Red Wings' Mark Sinclair stopped 19 shots out of the 25 that he faced. Hamilton incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
