Aurora downs Lindsay in overtime, 4-3 (OT)Lindsay Recreation Centre Fri, Nov 15, 2013 Story by Narrative Science.
The Aurora Tigers' Adam DiBrina scored 2:19 into overtime to beat the Lindsay Muskies, 4-3 (OT). Aurora got the win on the strength of a great game by DiBrina, who had one goal and two assists. The Tigers' offense rang up 40 shots on Lindsay's net. Aurora additionally got points from Taylor McCloy, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Drake Board also scored for Aurora. More assists for Aurora came via Noah Delmas, who had one and Dylan Sikura, who had two. The Muskies' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on five Aurora power plays. Lindsay kept Aurora's goalie busy throughout the game, and Kevin Entmaa made 33 saves on 36 shots. The Muskies were helped by Stefan Von Egelbrechten, who racked up one goal. Von Egelbrechten scored 15:50 into the first period to make the score 2-2. Patrick Morgan picked up the assist. Lindsay also got a goal from Vince Herlihey as well. Other players who recorded assists for Lindsay were Jake Ryan, Brandon Washer, Austin Eastman, Davis Gadjovich, and Joseph Vocino, who contributed one a piece. The Tigers incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Branden Francey rejected 36 shots on goal for Lindsay. The Muskies incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
