Pickering downs Aurora in overtime, 4-3 (OT)

The Pickering Panthers' Robert Cammalleri scored 2:21 into overtime to beat the Aurora Tigers, 4-3 (OT).

Cammalleri was all over the ice for Pickering, as he grabbed two goals in the win.

The Panthers excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances.

Pickering also got a goal from Cam Palmer as well. Other players who recorded assists for Pickering were Nicholas Lepone, who had two and Sean Power, Corey Helliwell, Brent Tuchner, and Brodie Tutton, who each chipped in one.

Aurora put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Pickering to score on any of its three power plays. The Tigers kept the Panthers' goalie busy throughout the game, and Steven Dombrosky made 40 saves on 43 shots.

Aurora was helped by Robert Angiolella, who tallied one goal. Angiolella scored 16:40 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Pickering. Tyler Boston provided the assist. Aurora additionally got points from Dylan Sikura, who also had one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Michael Laidley also scored for Aurora. In addition, Aurora received assists from Eric Williams, who had one.

Pickering ended with 13 minutes in penalty time with four minors and one major. For the Panthers, Mark Tenuta and Doug Carter were ejected from the contest. Andy Munroe rejected 25 shots on goal for the Tigers. Aurora ended with 11 minutes in penalty time with three minors and one major. For the Tigers, Adam Power was ejected from the game.
