The St. Michaels Buzzers, who led by three goals at one point, survived a comeback attempt by St. Michaels and clinched a 4-2 victory. The Buzzers led by three goals at one point and ended with the victory. The largest advantage in the game came when St. Michaels' CJ Shugart's scored at 19:04 in the first period to put the Buzzers up 3-0. Shugart was all over the ice for St. Michaels, as he grabbed two goals in the win. The Buzzers' offense rang up 38 shots on the Wellington Dukes' net. David Italiano also scored for St. Michaels. More assists for St. Michaels came via Joseph Berton, who had two and Jake Clements, Danylo Znaczko, Ian Edmondson, Matt Alvaro, Jake Evans, and Bron Loiselle, who each chipped in one. Wellington's offense operated below it season average. The Dukes put an average of 4.1 pucks into the net per game. Wellington kept St. Michaels' goalie busy throughout the game, and George Argiropoulos made 50 saves on 52 shots. The Dukes were helped by Maurizio Colella, who had one goal. Colella scored 2:19 into the second period to make the score 3-1 St. Michaels. Joe McKeown assisted on the tally. Wellington also got a goal from Kyle Paat as well. In addition, Wellington received assists from Trevor Cope and Parker Wood, who contributed one a piece. The Buzzers incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Lucas Machalski rejected 34 shots on goal for Wellington. The Dukes incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with two minors.
