The Kingston Voyageurs, who led by three goals at one point, survived a comeback attempt by Kingston and clinched a 3-2 victory.

The Voyageurs led by three goals at one point and ended with the victory. The largest advantage in the game came when Kingston's Patrick Volpe's scored on the power play at 19:43 in the first period to put the Voyageurs up 3-0.

Kingston forced the Stouffville Spirit goalie Daniel Mannella to work between the pipes, taking 37 shots.

Stouffville kept Kingston's goalie busy throughout the game, and Alex Brooks-Potts made 37 saves on 39 shots.

The Spirit were helped by Kyler Challis, who finished with one goal. Challis scored on the power play 15:33 into the second period to make the score 3-2 Kingston. A roughing after whistle penalty on Seney had put Stouffville on the power play. Peyton Backus provided the assist. Stouffville additionally got points from Backus, who also grabbed one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. More assists for Stouffville came via Robert Powers and Michael Stevens, who each chipped in one.

The Voyageurs incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. The Spirit's Mannella stopped 34 shots out of the 37 that he faced. Stouffville incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
