Toronto Lakeshore downs Orangeville, 5-1

Matthew McLeod registered one point to lead the Toronto Lakeshore Patriots to a 5-1 victory over the Orangeville Flyers.

Orangeville was unable to stop Toronto Lakeshore from sending pucks towards the net, and the Patriots eventually piled up 47 shots on goal.

Toronto Lakeshore additionally got points from Jacob Hayhurst, who also had one goal and two assists. Toronto Lakeshore also got a goal from Doug Bonar as well. Other players who recorded assists for Toronto Lakeshore were Marcus Rose, who had two and Jack OHara, Andreas Tsogkas, Matthew Marchese, Niko Kovachis, Nathan Feric, and Chris Sekelyk, who each chipped in one.

The Flyers were led by Nicholas Baratto, who scored the team's only goal. Baratto scored 7:44 into the first period to make the score 1-1.

Jeremy Helvig rejected 17 shots on goal for Toronto Lakeshore. The Patriots incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Taylor Welsh recorded 42 saves for Orangeville. The Flyers totaled 11 minutes in penalty time with three minors and one major and went 0-for-2 on the power play. For Orangeville, Austin Kozluk was ejected from the game.
