A hat trick by Nick Thomakos was the highlight in Spirit's 4-2 win against the Whitby Fury.

The Stouffville Spirit pulled out the victory even though they were hit with 12 penalty minutes.

Connor Miller also scored for Stouffville. In addition, Stouffville received assists from Spencer Roberts, Michael Morgan, and Justin Wain, who each chipped in one.

Whitby was helped by Taylor Best, who racked up one goal and one assist. Best scored 18:20 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Whitby. Mike Panowyk assisted on the tally.
