Pickering falls to Kingston in overtime, 3-2 (OT)

Charles Dube gave the Kingston Voyageurs a 3-2 (OT) victory over the Pickering Panthers when he scored 1:16 into the extra period.

Spencer Green was all over the ice for Kingston, as he tallied one goal and two assists in the win. Green scored 2:07 into the third period to make the score 1-1. Maxim Pitre picked up the assist.

The Voyageurs forced Pickering goalie Steven Dombrosky to work between the pipes, taking 39 shots.

Kingston additionally got points from Pitre, who also had one goal and one assist. More assists for Kingston came via Blake ONeill, who had one.

The Panthers put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Kingston to score on any of its three power plays.

Pickering was helped by Brodie Tutton, who tallied one goal. Tutton scored 10:10 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Pickering. Isaak Iacobucci assisted on the tally. Pickering also got a goal from Mark Tenuta as well. Other players who recorded assists for Pickering were Corey Helliwell, who had one.

Alex Brooks-Potts made 28 saves for the Voyageurs on 30 shots. Kingston incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Dombrosky rejected 36 shots on goal for the Panthers. Pickering incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
