The Aurora Tigers relied on the sparkling performance of Kevin Entmaa in net to grab a 4-1 win against the St. Michaels Buzzers. Adam DiBrina had a great game for Aurora, netting two goals. DiBrina scored at 19:13 into the first period to make the score 2-1 Aurora and again while 18:37 into the third to make the score 4-1 Aurora. The Tigers excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances. Aurora forced St. Michaels goalie George Argiropoulos to work between the pipes, taking 32 shots. Drake Board also scored for Aurora. Other players who recorded assists for Aurora were Kory Kennedy, who had two and Michael Keenan, Taylor McCloy, Mihkel Poldma, Jordan Peacock, and Jake Gilmour, who contributed one a piece. The Buzzers were held below their usual level of production. St. Michaels averages 3.5 goals per game. The Tigers were unable to stop the Buzzers from sending pucks towards the net, and St. Michaels eventually piled up 39 shots on goal. The Buzzers were led by Ashur Elliot, who scored the team's only goal. Elliot scored 11:17 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Danylo Znaczko provided the assist. Entmaa recorded 38 saves for Aurora. The Tigers incurred 16 minutes in penalty time with three minors. St. Michaels' Argiropoulos stopped 28 shots out of the 31 that he faced.
