Zackery Landsfield was all over the ice for the Mississauga Chargers, as he tallied one goal and two assists in Mississauga's 5-2 win over the Oakville Blades. Landsfield beat Brendan McGlynn with a shot 18:41 into the third period on the power play to make the score 4-2 Mississauga. The Chargers had taken the advantage when Oakville's Vince Palermo got sent off for tripping. Nick Tetley assisted on the tally. Landsfield dished an assist on Vince Figliomeni's goal that made the score 2-0 Mississauga at 5:09 into the first period. He added another helper on Ryan Hunter's goal that made the score 5-2 Mississauga at 19:10 into the third period.Mississauga's penalty kill excelled, as the Chargers gave up one goal despite allowing nine power plays. Mississauga's offense rang up 40 shots on the Blades' net. The Chargers' penalty killing units received substantial work throughout the game as Mississauga finished with 22 penalty minutes. Mississauga also got a goal from Jackson Howe as well. More assists for Mississauga came via Trevor Warnaar, Nicholas Palumbo, and Patrick Mooney, who each chipped in two. Oakville kept the Chargers' goalie busy throughout the game, and Austin Washkurak made 35 saves on 37 shots. The Blades' penalty killing units received substantial work throughout the game as Oakville finished with 30 penalty minutes. The Blades were helped by Sean Kohler, who had one goal. Kohler scored 10:15 into the first period to make the score 2-1 Mississauga. Joe Seney provided the assist. Kamil Tkaczuk also scored for Oakville. Other players who recorded assists for Oakville were Greg Campbell and Ross Sloan, who contributed one a piece. Mississauga registered three goals on 12 power play opportunities. Oakville's McGlynn stopped 35 shots out of the 39 that he faced.
