Team Minnesota downs Toronto Pro Hockey in overtime, 5-4 (OT)

Maxwell Burkholder gave Team Minnesota a 5-4 (OT) victory over Toronto Pro Hockey when he scored 1:01 into the extra period.

Toronto Pro Hockey could not complete its climb out of a three-goal hole. Team Minnesota made it 4-1 on a goal by Evan Pahos at 10:35 in the second period. Toronto Pro Hockey pulled to within 4-3 on a goal by Francesco Pinelli at 13:34 in the third period.

Team Minnesota excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in five chances.

Chaz C.H. Lucius also scored for Team Minnesota. More assists for Team Minnesota came via Damon Furuseth, who had two and Carter Batchelder, Jack Peart, and Brandon Reller, who each chipped in one.

Toronto Pro Hockey forced Team Minnesota goalie Anton Castro to work between the pipes, taking 32 shots.

Toronto Pro Hockey also got a goal from Dylan Duke as well. Other players who recorded assists for Toronto Pro Hockey were William Smith and Wyatt Johnston, who contributed one a piece.

Castro recorded 28 saves for Team Minnesota. Team Minnesota incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Ben West made 10 saves before being replaced by Roy Pejcinovski, who took the otl and made 10 saves. Toronto Pro Hockey incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
