Team Brick Alberta outlasts Montreal Ice Storm, 4-2

Team Brick Alberta gutted out a close 4-2 win against Montreal Ice Storm.

Each team kept the other at bay throughout the game, and Dylan Guenther secured the win for Team Brick Alberta with a goal in the second period.

Team Brick Alberta was paced by Guenther, who had one goal. Guenther scored on the power play 9:05 into the second period to make the score 3-2 Team Brick Alberta. Team Brick Alberta had gained a power play chance when Charles Boutin was whistled for tripping. Jayden Davis provided the assist.

Team Brick Alberta managed to stay out of the box better than usual, registering one minor for two minutes in penalty time. Team Brick Alberta ended up below its season average of 7.0 penalty minutes per game. Team Brick Alberta cashed in on power play opportunities, scoring two goals on three chances.

Team Brick Alberta also got points from Ty Mueller, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Team Brick Alberta also got a goal from Brett Hyland as well. More assists for Team Brick Alberta came via Sean Tschigerl, who had one and Noah Serdachny, who had two.
