London falls to Chatham in overtime, 2-1 (OT)

The Chatham Maroons' Alexander Morgan scored 5:09 into overtime to beat the London Nationals, 2-1 (OT).

With the win, Chatham evened the series at 1-1 in the best of seven showdown.

The Maroons were sparked by Morgan, who tallied one goal.

Chatham also got a goal from Sean Myers as well. In addition, Chatham received assists from Jake Flegel, Evan Mascaro, and Blake Blondeel, who contributed one a piece.

London put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Chatham to score on any of its five power plays.

The Nationals were led by Lance Pridham, who scored the team's only goal. Pridham scored on the power play 12:12 into the second period to make the score 1-0 London. London had gained a power play chance when Oliver Blayne was whistled for tripping. Aaron Dartch provided the assist.

Darien Ekblad made 22 saves for the Maroons on 23 shots. Chatham incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. The Nationals' Taylor Edwards stopped 26 shots out of the 28 that he faced. London incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. For the Nationals, Ryan Wells was ejected from the game.
