Fort Worth downs Quad City in overtime, 3-2 (OT)

The Fort Worth Brahmas' John Snowden scored 4:47 into overtime to beat the Quad City Mallards, 3-2 (OT).

The win gave Fort Worth a 2-0 lead in the best of seven series.

The Brahmas were led by Snowden, who tallied one goal.

Quad City was unable to stop Fort Worth from sending pucks towards the net, and the Brahmas eventually piled up 37 shots on goal.

Tomas Klempa also scored for Fort Worth. Other players who recorded assists for Fort Worth were Ross Rouleau, who had two and Brendon Hodge, Sy Nutkevitch, Colby Pridham, and Adam Hogg, who each chipped in one.

The Mallards were helped by Mickey Lang, who registered one goal. Lang scored 19:15 into the first period to make the score 2-1 Quad City. Matt Carlson provided the assist. Quad City also got points from Darren McMillan, who also tallied one goal and one assist. More assists for Quad City came via Jason Dixon, who had one.

Fort Worth's Kristofer Westblom stopped 21 shots out of the 23 that he faced. The Brahmas incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Neil Conway rejected 34 shots on goal for Quad City. The Mallards incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
