Melbourne Ice outlasts Adelaide Adrenaline, 3-2

Melbourne Ice and Adelaide Adrenaline were evenly matched throughout their contest, but Melbourne Ice made the most of its opportunities and won, 3-2.

Melbourne Ice gained the winning advantage on a goal by Nicole Tritter 7:13 into the third period and hung on until final buzzer.

Melbourne Ice got the win with help from a great game by Tritter, who had two goals and one assist. Tritter scored the first of her two goals at 3:28 into the third period to make the score 2-1 Melbourne Ice. Lucy Parrington provided the assist. Tritter's next tally made the score 3-2 Melbourne Ice with 12:47 left in the third period. Rylie Padjen assisted on the tally.

Melbourne Ice's penalty kill excelled, as Melbourne Ice gave up zero goals despite allowing seven power plays.
