The Georgetown Raiders tried their best to erase a three-goal deficit, but the St. Michaels Buzzers would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 5-3. St. Michaels took a 5-2 lead during the second period, only to have Georgetown storm back on a Anthony Marra goal 15:11 into the third period to pull to two goals down. After the loss made the series score 3-1 in the best of seven series, the Raiders face elimination next time out. Georgetown's power play was ineffective against the Buzzers' penalty kill, which allowed zero goals while shorthanded. St. Michaels made Raiders' netminders to work all game long, totaling 31 shots and forcing 26 saves. Gabe Grunwald made 18 stops and Keegan Wilson made eight. The Buzzers' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on seven Georgetown power plays. St. Michaels was helped by Shane Conacher, who finished with one goal. Conacher scored 11:39 into the first period to make the score 2-1 St. Michaels. Matt Galati provided the assist. St. Michaels also got points from Troy Josephs, who also tallied one goal and one assist, Jake Evans, who also racked up one goal and one assist, and Galati, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. St. Michaels also got a goal from David Italiano as well. More assists for St. Michaels came via Jared Walsh, who had two and Matt Buckles, Jordan Merante, and Patrick McCarron, who each chipped in one. The Raiders stifled the Buzzers' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Georgetown kept St. Michaels' goalie busy throughout the game, and Adrian Ignagni made 43 saves on 46 shots. Georgetown additionally got points from Nick Perruccio, who also finished with one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Drake Hart also scored for Georgetown. Other players who recorded assists for Georgetown were Brendan Woods, who had two and Steve Hladin, Alex Adams, and Alex Botten, who contributed one a piece. The Buzzers incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors. The Raiders incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors. For Georgetown, Perruccio was ejected from the game.
