The Georgetown Raiders came close to giving away a four-goal lead to the St. Michaels Buzzers, but did just enough to escape with a 7-5 victory. Georgetown led by four goals at one point and ended with the victory. The largest advantage in the game came when the Raiders' Nick Perruccio's scored at 18:42 in the second period to put Georgetown up 6-2. The win moved the Raiders to down 2-1 in the best of seven series. Jacob Bauchman was all over the ice for Georgetown, as he had two goals in the win. Bauchman's tallies came at 15:07 into the first period to make the score 1-1 and on the power play 16:54 into the first to make the score 2-1 Georgetown. The Raiders' penalty kill excelled, as Georgetown gave up zero goals despite allowing 10 power plays. The Raiders forced St. Michaels' netminders to work in net, firing 37 shots and forcing 30 saves. George Argiropoulos made eight stops and Adrian Ignagni made 22. Georgetown stifled the Buzzers' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Georgetown also got points from Steve Hladin, who also grabbed one goal and one assist, Brendan Woods, who also finished with one goal and one assist, and Perruccio, who also registered one goal and two assists to lead the team in points. Brendan Jacome also scored for Georgetown. In addition, Georgetown received assists from Liam Clare, who had two and Tyler McCarthy, Drake Hart, Alex Botten, and Phil Kiss, who contributed one a piece. St. Michaels made the Raiders' goaltenders to work between the pipes, launching 39 shots and forcing 34 saves. Gabe Grunwald made 12 stops and Keegan Wilson made 22. The Buzzers were helped by Matt Galati, who had one goal. Galati scored 2:51 into the third period to make the score 6-4 Georgetown. Patrick McCarron provided the assist. St. Michaels additionally got points from Bron Loiselle, who also tallied one goal and one assist and Cody Doiron, who also racked up one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. St. Michaels also got a goal from Michael Neville as well. More assists for St. Michaels came via Ian Edmondson, Troy Josephs, and Shane Conacher, who each chipped in one. Georgetown incurred 28 minutes in penalty time with nine minors. St. Michaels incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors.
