Scott Murray recorded a shutout against the Alexandria Blizzard as the Granite City Lumberjacks picked up a 1-0 win.

The win by Granite City clinched the best of five series at 3-1.

Aidan Verbeke's game-winning tally was the game's only goal. It came at 19:06 in the third period. Matt Raiola provided the assist.

The Lumberjacks pulled out the victory even though they were hit with 14 penalty minutes.

Granite City stifled Alexandria's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.

The Blizzard's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four Granite City power plays.

The Lumberjacks' Murray stopped 27 shots out of the 27 that he faced. Dom DeGuisseppi rejected 28 shots on goal for Alexandria. The Blizzard incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
