The win gave Marshall School Duluth a 1-0 lead in the best of one series.

The Hilltoppers were sparked by Matthew Klassen, who racked up one goal. Klassen scored 3:21 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Marshall School Duluth. Jeremy Lopez picked up the assist.
