Marshall School Duluth rips Marshall, 4-1Mariucci Main Arena Thu, Mar 07, 2013 The Marshall School Duluth Hilltoppers were firing on all cylinders against the Marshall Tigers, and when the final buzzer sounded Hilltoppers emerged with a 4-1 win. The win gave Marshall School Duluth a 1-0 lead in the best of one series. The Hilltoppers were sparked by Matthew Klassen, who racked up one goal. Klassen scored 3:21 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Marshall School Duluth. Jeremy Lopez picked up the assist. Marshall School Duluth forced Marshall goalie Mason Campion to work between the pipes, taking 62 shots. Connor Flaherty also scored for Marshall School Duluth. More assists for Marshall School Duluth came via John McKenna, Kyle McKinzie, and Jordon Fralich, who contributed one a piece. Alex Murray made 17 saves for the Hilltoppers on 18 shots. Marshall School Duluth totaled seven minutes in penalty time with one minor and one major and went 0-for-2 on the power play. Campion recorded 58 saves for the Tigers.
