Brisbane Goannas holds on for 6-5 win against North Star Sirens

North Star Sirens tried its best to erase a five-goal deficit, but Brisbane Goannas would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 6-5.

Brisbane Goannas made the score 6-1 on a goal by Michelle Clark-Crumpton at 8:02 in the second period, and North Star Sirens got as close as 6-5 when Sharna Godfrey scored 16:55 into the third period.

Natasha Farrier had four goals and one assist to lead Brisbane Goannas. Farrier notched her first tally 2:39 into the first period. He then added goals at 7:52 into the first, at 10:06 into the first, and at 7:49 into the second.
