New York Apple Core rolls over Philadelphia Revolution, 5-1

New York Apple Core had a four-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 5-1 win over Philadelphia Revolution.

The win gave New York Apple Core a 1-0 lead in the best of one series.

New York Apple Core was led by Travis Quigley, who had one goal. Quigley scored 17:26 into the first period to make the score 2-0 New York Apple Core. Sam Soifer provided the assist.

New York Apple Core put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Philadelphia Revolution to score on any of its three power plays. New York Apple Core's offense rang up 54 shots on Philadelphia Revolution's net.

New York Apple Core also got points from Owen Stanton, who also tallied one goal and one assist and James Loglisci, who also had one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. New York Apple Core also got a goal from Andrew Cunningham as well. In addition, New York Apple Core received assists from Nikolas Boesenberg, Shane Higgins, and Brian OSullivan, who each chipped in one.

Philadelphia Revolution's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on five New York Apple Core power plays.

Dominic Lamanno recorded 20 saves for New York Apple Core. New York Apple Core incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Troy Klahre made 49 saves for Philadelphia Revolution on 54 shots. Philadelphia Revolution incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
