Even with Eric Shewell's two points, the Lakefield Chiefs fell 5-2 to the Uxbridge Bruins.

The win moved Uxbridge to down 2-1 in the best of seven series.

The Bruins were paced by Jarett Smith, who tallied one goal and one assist. Smith scored 18:29 into the second period to make the score 3-1 Uxbridge. Joey Vocino picked up the assist.

Uxbridge's defensemen played an important role in the offense, chipping in two goals.

Uxbridge also got points from Matthew Allen, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Callum Lynch also scored for Uxbridge. More assists for Uxbridge came via Michael Spataro, who had two and Patrick Morgan, Dylan Locke, and Marco Mastrangelo, who each chipped in one.

In addition, Lakefield received assists from Travis Brault, who had two and Curtis Bolton and Eric Oosting, who contributed one a piece.
