The New Hampshire Jr Monarchs' Shane Tracy scored 6:14 into overtime to beat Boston Bandits, 5-4 (OT). The win gave New Hampshire a 1-0 lead in the best of one series. The Jr Monarchs overcame a three-goal deficit to capture the victory. New Hampshire fell behind 4-1 after a goal by Boston Bandits' Connor Sweeney at 17:37 in the first period. The Jr Monarchs tied things up at 4-4 on a goal by Christopher Moquin at 19:52 in the third period. Moquin had four goals to lead New Hampshire to victory. Moquin's first goal came 5:34 into the first period. He then added goals at 15:02 into the second and at 19:39 into the third. New Hampshire additionally got points from Tracy, who also grabbed one goal and two assists. Other players who recorded assists for New Hampshire were Brett Boyer, who had two and Connor Merrick, Brent Beaudoin, and Adriano Mungioli, who contributed one a piece.
