Boston Bandits erases deficit to stun Atlanta, 5-4

Undaunted by a two-goal deficit, Boston Bandits battled back to claim a 5-4 victory over the Atlanta Knights.

Boston Bandits let multiple leads slip away before eventually digging out of a two hole to pick up the win. Boston Bandits took a 1-0 advantage on a goal by Aharon Lara at 19:08 in the first period. Boston Bandits found itself down 4-2 after Atlanta's Cole Stallard put the puck home at 15:48 in the third period. After tying things up at 4-4 on a goal by Davis Zembergs at 17:29 in the third, Boston Bandits got the game-winner from Lara at 18:05 in the third period.

The win gave Boston Bandits a 1-0 lead in the best of one series.

Raymond Wilson was all over the ice for Boston Bandits, as he tallied two goals and two assists in the win. Wilson scored the first of his two goals on the power play at 17:21 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Boston Bandits. Boston Bandits had gotten the advantage when the Knights' Bradley Harley was sent off for boarding. Wilson's next tally on the power play made the score 4-3 Atlanta with 3:57 left in the third period.

Atlanta was unable to stop Boston Bandits from sending pucks towards the net, and Boston Bandits eventually piled up 40 shots on goal.

In addition, Boston Bandits received assists from Brandon Seal, Colton Hutton, Erik Hajdu, and Thomas Daniels, who contributed one a piece.

The Knights were led by Jack Trischett, who tallied three goals. More assists for Atlanta came via Jon Gibson, harris m, Se Kim, Cale Massa, and Kienan Fenton, who each chipped in one.

Ryan McCarthy rejected 26 shots on goal for Boston Bandits. Boston Bandits incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Lucas Thurston recorded 35 saves for Atlanta. The Knights incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
