Hartland Hounds squeaks by Tennyson Chevrolet, 3-2

In a game where neither team could get a cushion, Hartland Hounds escaped with a 3-2 victory over Tennyson Chevrolet.

Neither team gained more than a one-goal lead, and Cameron Miglia's goal in the third period proved to be the difference maker.

The win by Hartland Hounds clinched the best of three series at 2-0.

Miglia had two goals to lead Hartland Hounds to victory.

Hartland Hounds stifled Tennyson Chevrolet's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.

Gabe Daavettila also scored for Hartland Hounds. Other players who recorded assists for Hartland Hounds were Zachary Parrott, Scott Luca, Cameron Fisher, and Collin Myers, who each chipped in one.

Tennyson Chevrolet forced Hartland Hounds goalie Andrew Brownlee to work between the pipes, taking 35 shots.

Tennyson Chevrolet was helped by Zachary Chapman, who tallied one goal. Chapman scored 6:27 into the third period to make the score 2-1 Tennyson Chevrolet. Joseph Matyaszek picked up the assist. Tennyson Chevrolet also got a goal from Zachary Wiacek as well. In addition, Tennyson Chevrolet received assists from John Cahill, Jason Pischke, and Justin Whitson, who contributed one a piece.

Brownlee rejected 33 shots on goal for Hartland Hounds. Hartland Hounds incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with nine minors. Tennyson Chevrolet's Chris Lewis stopped 19 shots out of the 22 that he faced. Tennyson Chevrolet totaled 33 minutes in penalty time with nine minors and one major and went 0-for-4 on the power play.
