Chatham's Feasey deadly on offense in 4-1 win against Lambton ShoresChatham Memorial Arena Sun, Mar 03, 2013 Story by Narrative Science.
Brennan Feasey was all over the ice for the Chatham Maroons, as he tallied two goals in Chatham's 4-1 win over the Lambton Shores Predators. Feasey's tallies came on the power play at 5:10 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Chatham and 9:14 into the first to make the score 2-0 Chatham.The win by the Maroons broke a deadlock and gave Chatham a 2-1 advantage in the best of seven series. The Maroons were led by goalie Darien Ekblad, who finished with 27 saves while allowing one goal. Ekblad managed to improve on his goals against average, which stood at 2.34 prior to the game. Chatham stifled Lambton Shores' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Maroons' offense rang up 47 shots on the Predators' net. Trevor Richardson also scored for Chatham. More assists for Chatham came via Morris Branden, Jake Flegel, Steven Szekesy, Connor Doran, Michael Verboom, Ian Faubert, Sean Myers, and Blake Blondeel, who contributed one a piece. Lambton Shores was led by Kyle Brothers, who scored the team's only goal. Brothers scored 14:31 into the first period to make the score 2-1 Chatham. Adam Arseneault picked up the assist. Chatham incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors. The Predators' Brandon Campbell stopped 43 shots out of the 47 that he faced. Lambton Shores incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with 10 minors. |
