The Kingston Voyageurs' Ludlow Harris had a big offensive game, scoring two goals and contributing two assists in his team's 5-2 win over the Wellington Dukes. Harris found the back of the net short handed 4:54 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Kingston and again while on the power play 1:23 into the second to make the score 3-1 Kingston.After the loss made the series score 3-1 in the best of seven series, Wellington faces elimination next time out. Kingston's penalty kill excelled, as the Voyageurs gave up one goal despite allowing seven power plays. Kingston forced the Dukes goalie Matt Larose to work between the pipes, taking 35 shots. Others who scored for Kingston included David Quesnele, who had one and Graham Yeo, who had two. In addition, Kingston received assists from Kris Grant, who had two and Aidan Wright and Michael Schug, who each chipped in one. Wellington kept the Voyageurs' goalie busy throughout the game, and Charlie Finn made 30 saves on 32 shots. The Dukes were helped by Nik Coric, who finished with one goal. Coric scored 11:31 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Joe McKeown provided the assist. Wellington also got a goal from Kyle Paat as well. Other players who recorded assists for Wellington were Josh Finkelstein, who had one and Abbot Girduckis, who had two. Kingston totaled 19 minutes in penalty time with seven minors and one major and went 2-for-5 on the power play. The Voyageurs ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Dylan Hutton was ejected from the game. Larose recorded 30 saves for Wellington. The Dukes ended with 15 minutes in penalty time with five minors and one major. For Wellington, Jake Marchment was ejected from the game.
