A stellar performance between the pipes by Charlie Finn helped the Kingston Voyageurs defeat the Wellington Dukes, 4-1. The win by Kingston broke a deadlock and gave the Voyageurs a 2-1 advantage in the best of seven series. Kingston was sparked by Michael Casale, who had one goal. Casale scored on the power play 15:48 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Kingston. The Voyageurs earned a power play opportunity when Spencer Turcotte was put in the box for too many men. Francesco Vilardi picked up the assist. Kingston's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four Wellington power plays. The Voyageurs' offense rang up 41 shots on Wellington's net. Kingston additionally got points from Graham Yeo, who also registered one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Brett Seney also scored for Kingston. More assists for Kingston came via Michael Schug, who had two and Aidan Wright and Josh Hicks, who contributed one a piece. The Dukes kept Kingston's goalie busy throughout the game, and Finn made 32 saves on 33 shots. Wellington did not rack up many penalties in the contest, totaling only one minor for two minutes in penalty time. The Dukes were led by Jake Marchment, who scored the team's only goal. Marchment scored 13:47 into the second period to make the score 1-1. Austin Broadhurst provided the assist. The Voyageurs incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Matt Larose made 37 saves for Wellington on 40 shots.
