Masion Campion made 25 saves to complete the shutout and led the Marshall Tigers to a 4-0 win against the Windom Area Eagles.

The win gave Marshall a 1-0 lead in the best of one series.

The Tigers were sparked by Derek Rasmussen, who racked up one goal. Rasmussen scored 10:56 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Marshall. Quinn Horvath assisted on the tally.

Marshall kept Windom Area's goalie busy throughout the game, and Ben Stubbe made 40 saves on 44 shots.

Marshall additionally got points from Horvath, who also registered one goal and one assist and Andrew Bell, who also tallied one goal and one assist. Adam McVey also scored for Marshall. Other players who recorded assists for Marshall were Austin Leek, who had one and Beau Mikel, who had two.

The Eagles did not rack up many penalties in the contest, tallying just one minor for two minutes in penalty time.

The Tigers incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Windom Area registered zero goals on two power play opportunities.
