T.J. Lang registered one point to lead the Henry Sibley Warriors to a 2-1 victory over the St. Paul Johnson Governors.

The win gave Henry Sibley a 1-0 lead in the best of one series.

Henry Sibley also got a goal from Jack Coleman as well. In addition, Henry Sibley received assists from Steve Malmgren, who had one.

The Warriors' defense shut down St. Paul Johnson's forwards for much of the game, and the Governors got off only 14 shots during the contest.

St. Paul Johnson was led by Jake Solheid, who scored the team's only goal. Solheid scored 6:57 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Justin Howell provided the assist.

Cody Dornbusch recorded 13 saves for Henry Sibley. The Warriors incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. The Governors' Samuel Moberg stopped 20 shots out of the 22 that he faced. St. Paul Johnson incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
