Tommy Hajicek registered one point to lead the East Grand Forks Green Wave to a 2-0 victory over the Warroad Warriors.

With the  East Grand Forks Green Wave move on to represent Section 8A in the 2013 MSHSL Class A State Tourney at the Xcel Energy Center. 

The Green Wave forced Warroad goalie Justin King to work between the pipes, taking 34 shots. East Grand Forks did not rack up many penalties in the contest, totaling only one minor for two minutes in penalty time.

Kolton Aubol also scored for East Grand Forks. In addition, East Grand Forks received assists from Tanner Tweten, who had one.

The Green Wave's defense shut down the Warriors' forwards for much of the game, and Warroad got off only 11 shots during the contest.

Tanner Lindstrom recorded 11 saves for East Grand Forks. The Green Wave registered one goal on one power play opportunities. The Warriors' King stopped 32 shots out of the 33 that he faced. Warroad incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors and had no power play opportunities.
