Zachary Driscoll was superb between the pipes for the Eastview Lightning, as he did not allow a goal in a 4-0 victory over the Rosemount Irish.

The win gave Eastview a 1-0 lead in the best of one series.

The Lightning were led by Mitch Beattie, who tallied one goal. Beattie scored on the power play 3:20 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Eastview. Nick Abbott picked up the assist.

Rosemount was unable to stop Eastview from sending pucks towards the net, and the Lightning eventually piled up 38 shots on goal.

Eastview also got points from Abbott, who also grabbed one goal and two assists to lead the team in points. Eastview also got a goal from John Snodgrass as well. Other players who recorded assists for Eastview were Cole Cooper, who had one, Pierce Erickson, who had two, and Ryan McNamara, who had three.

Driscoll recorded 27 saves for Eastview. The Lightning avoided the penalty box for the entire game and scored two goals off of zero power plays. Austin Leslie rejected 34 shots on goal for the Irish. Rosemount ended with no penalties and went 0-for-0 on the power play.
