Behind a great game by Adam Fisher, who had two goals, the Ayr Centennials defeated the Hagersville Hawks, 6-2. Fisher scored at 3:55 into the second period to make the score 3-1 Ayr and again while 18:19 into the third to make the score 6-2 Ayr.The win by Ayr clinched the best of seven series at 4-3. The Centennials forced Hagersville goalie Aaron Cormier to work between the pipes, taking 36 shots. Ayr did not rack up many penalties in the contest, tallying a minimal one minor for two minutes in penalty time. Ayr additionally got points from Brandon Christopher, who also registered one goal and one assist and Declan Kaster, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Andrew Richard also scored for Ayr. In addition, Ayr received assists from Jordan Pettitt, who had one and Brett Gibson and Alex Richard, who contributed two a piece. The Hawks kept the Centennials' goalie busy throughout the game, and Lee Doherty made 32 saves on 34 shots.
