Uxbridge blows out Port Perry, 4-1Uxbridge Arena Fri, Feb 22, 2013 Story by Narrative Science.
The Uxbridge Bruins were firing on all cylinders against the Port Perry Mojacks, and when the final buzzer sounded Bruins emerged with a 4-1 win. The win gave Uxbridge a 1-0 lead in the best of seven series. Port Perry's power play was ineffective against the Bruins' penalty kill, which allowed zero goals while shorthanded. Uxbridge was paced by Wyatt Trainer, who grabbed one goal. Trainer scored 14:58 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Uxbridge. Mike Ramsey assisted on the tally. The Bruins' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on nine Port Perry power plays. Uxbridge also got a goal from Joey Vocino as well. In addition, Uxbridge received assists from Steve Doutsis, who had two and Patrick Morgan, Callum Lynch, Dylan Locke, Matthew Allen, and Jarett Smith, who each chipped in one. Uxbridge incurred 24 minutes in penalty time with 12 minors. The Mojacks incurred 38 minutes in penalty time with 14 minors.
